Introducing Mr. Goode-Bar: Sex Addict or Not?

Jay Goode-Bar has a secret weapon that makes him irresistible to women. Although what he is doing would be considered immoral and utterly wrong by most of society, the women actually enjoy it and want more.

Now, please bare with me when I say that the Mr. Goode Bar series is not for the faint-hearted. If you’re familiar with “50 Shades of Grey”, then your mind will be better prepared for these books. I take the reader down a path that very few could ever imagine happening in real life, especially if you’re a little conservative. However, somewhere in this big world perhaps things like this do indeed happen - especially when it comes to sexual conduct.

Right now the “Mr. Goode-Bar” series consist of two short novellas that you could probably easily read in a weekend. Despite them being short books, they have many layers or stories within a story. With the character Jay Goode-Bar, the reader will learn about what may be perceived as a troubling childhood. It certainly plays a role in his actions as an adult.

What’s interesting to think about is that if men were to look at Jay Goode-Bar, they probably wouldn’t think of him as a sex “addict”. He’s just a man being a man, right? If sex is happening between two consenting adults, what’s the big deal? However, if we changed the story and a woman was now the one preying on men, people would most likely label her a “whore” and attempt to psychoanalyze her.

To this day sex and rape is a topic that is not talked about alot in our society. When people are victims of rape, many times they feel ashamed or even guilty for going through the experience. There is even a certain level of fear, especially if the person who raped them is someone they know. That secret could be kept for years or even taken to the grave. It also manifests into abnormal behaviors, depression, and other troubling actions.

There may be a third part to the “Mr. Goode-Bar” books if enough readers request it. Life has been a little bit hectic lately, and my focus is on writing the follow-up to my last book, “Chasing Danger”.

Have you read Mr. Goode-Bar yet? If so, I want to know what you think! If not, you can purchase it at Amazon. I always welcome your feedback whether it’s via email or social media. Maybe your comments or suggestions will influence the third part of the series!
